Sàn Art realizes that the development of an artistic practice requires not only an intellectual and creative investment, but a financial one as well. We understand that art production costs money. San Art, in collaboration with the Vietnam Foundation for the Arts (VNFA), offers small grants for practicing artists to realize and produce art projects.

• The VNFA Grant Program for Visual Artists
is designed to recognize, encourage and support promising and emerging Vietnamese visual artists in advancing their professional development by funding and nurturing a full range of artistic expressions. Each year the VNFA grant committee of anonymous art professionals will select one visual artist to be awarded a fellowship of $3,500.

• VNFA Project Grants
provide a rapid and small resource to Vietnamese visual artists who wish to complete their work for exhibitions or public projects. Grants of up to $200 will be awarded to artists who have a specific project and dates to present the work. Artists may be eligible for only one grant per calendar year.
